Every year with the becoming of Spring, one of the most important botanical gardens on Lake Maggiore re-open its gates.
Their today's appearance is not natural, but the result, moulded during the years, of an arduous elaboration undertaken by Captain McEacharn in 1931.
Coming into the gardens of Villa Taranto is just like making a travel through foreign lands: over 7 miles of paths through the whole area, which covers an area of 16 hectares, colourfull summer flowerbeds with more than 125.000 plants ...
